Division st Remodel

Some wonderful friends of ours moved into their new home with an old and cramped kitchen.  We removed a wall by adding new footers in the basement and a large beam to hold up the roof.  We then added a new tile floor, new cabinets, a new gas stove into the new island.  We used a lovely glass tile backsplash and created a couple of custom cabinets to fill in the more unusual spaces.  Some unique notable features would be the bowling alley bar top, the solid oak bar kick, and the re-used air in-ceiling hood vent from the 50s.
